Another part of the BALSA robots delivered!

We are pleased to announce that on June 28, 2017 PIAP Institute delivered another part of 26 Light Reconnaissance Vehicles – the 1507 Engineering Robot Model for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. Robots were shipped together with a spare parts sets and maintenance kits. The next step will be training of 35 operators, service technicians and instructors at the Training Center of the Engineering and Chemical Forces in Wroclaw.

Last BALSA robots delivery will be carried out by the end of June 2018.

For the record: Delivery of 26 Light Reconnaissance Robots was completed as part of the implementation of the contract between the Armament Inspectorate and the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurement PIAP for the delivery of 53 sets of engineering robot to support EOD / IED missions, named BALSA – Lightweight Reconnaissance Robot LRR).
