On the 25 th of June 2009 took place press conference, which officially opened PROTEUS project.

Special mobile robot's show accompanied this event.

SCOUT and IBIS robots for the first time in PIAP's history participated in Fire-Fighting Brigades operations. The show was the simulation of a usual Fire-Fighting Brigades routine in the case of car crash, fire and chemical contamination.

The SCOUT robot equipped with thermo-vision camera was used for reconnaissance of the car crash area. The robot IBIS lifted and moved in the safe area a chemical decontaminated container.
